Jack is originally from Miami, Florida. He obtained a B.A. in English from the University of Florida. He continued his education at Auburn University, receiving an M.A. and a Ph.D. in English. Jack spent three years as an instructor teaching freshmen and sophomore English courses at Auburn.

Jack assists clients with funding and implementing trusts, limited liability companies, and other business entities. His interests include studying literature, philosophy, and history; football and billiards. Alaska's stunning vistas and the adventurous spirit of its people drew Jack to this state.
