After
several years as a college professor, Larry Biskowski returned
to school to earn his J.D. degree from Northwestern University,
where he was named to the James Clark Baker Scholarship. He
previously earned a Ph.D. in political science from the University
of Minnesota and a B.A. in international relations from Texas
Christian University. His academic career included teaching
at Colorado College, the University of Georgia, and the University
of Puget Sound, as well as at several universities in Europe.
He was a frequent contributor to national and international
political science journals and served as an editorial consultant
to Oxford University Press. |
Larry
was named a Fulbright Lecturer in 1996 and spent much of the
following two years in Kiev, Ukraine advising government agencies,
universities, and private corporations about processes of
economic reform and democratization. Over the years, he has
lectured, taught, or studied in eight different countries.
Larry's
practice is focused in the areas of estate planning and tax
law. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, motorcycling, hiking,
playing blues piano, and exploring Alaska.
